One week until the Innovation Fund calls opening!

One week from now, the Commission will open two Innovation Fund calls for proposals to accelerate the deployment of innovative technologies in Europe. Together, the calls will make €4.8 billion available for industry and clean tech players in Europe to support the objectives of the European Green Deal and the Net-Zero Industry Act.

The IF23 Call will offer €4 billion for projects in various sectors, including decarbonisation, clean tech manufacturing, maritime and energy-intensive industries. The application window will be open until early April 2024.

The IF23 Auction is the first of its kind in Europe. It aims to support renewable hydrogen production. Auctions are a new financing mechanism under the Innovation Fund and a key element of the EU Hydrogen Bank. A €800 million budget will be available for bidders (project developers). Bids can be placed until early February 2024.

We are thrilled to invite you to two dedicated online Info Days:

These events are a unique opportunity for interested applicants to ask us questions directly and to hear about application best practices.
